Laser Safety

Laser safety is at the forefront of the Definitive Special Projects work ethos.  All our shows are designed to create the maximum visual effect while still adhering to rigid safety practices in order to give a safe yet stunning show.  Definitive was also able to add advice and direction to the PLASA laser safety guidance document that replaced the HS(G)95 in conjunction with other industry professionals and UK government agencies.  The articles in this section give a little more in-depth information of what to expect from a laser display company with regards to safety.  "The Control of Artificial Optical Radiation at Work Regulations 2010" is a UK specific document that relates to the law with regards to laser safety and exposure, where as the HS(G)95 was a guideline document that covered best working practices, and as mentioned, has now been superseded by the PLASA guidance.
